Furman and Connie were my Splash Sunday School Teachers. They came to me at a time I needed them most. Furman's gentle spirit led me on a closer journey in my faith and beyond teaching Sunday School, he taught me so much more. He will be missed but remembered fondly and all my love goes to you, Connie and Family.
Sincerely,
Debbie Fox

Dear Connie, My thoughts and prayers are with you. It seems impossible to me that Furman is gone. We have had a long history from the day I was born. You know he was a week older than me and when we were young he never let me forget it and in the last few years I did not let him forget it. I have so many fond memories of our growing up together and the times we have visited in our adult years. You take care of yourself and hopefully, I will see you soon. Love, Pat

Sweet Connie: I am heartbroken that our Furman is gone but also happy because I know he is with His Father in heaven. He was a true man of God and a remarkable Christlike example to and for me. I will miss his prayers (he always said THE best Sunday School prayers), his sense of humor (he always made "us girls" laugh), and his storytelling (he always told the best and funniest stories with my favorite being, of course, "The Radar Story"!). You are, and will continue to be, in my thoughts and prayers daily. I'm here if I can help in any way. Love you so much, Becky!
