Condolence From: herb whitley
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Park. I knew him from the YMCA where we would run into each other after swimming. He was so friendly and kind, and a wonderful person to talk to and get to know. I wish I had gotten to know him better, since I admired his warm and gracious manner. He was a lovely man and I will always remember him.

Condolence: We were so sorry to read the notice of Park's sudden passing. We fondly recall your time on Glenridge Parkway and your welcome cake when we first moved to the street. We extend our condolences to all of you at this sad time.
We still live in # 3 and Mark still teaches at Montclair State University. I have retired from teaching at the school of nursing. We have weddings to celebrate this summer.

Condolence: May God the Father bring peace and comfort to your family as you celebrate Park's passing to his rewards in Heaven. He will certainly be remembered as a blessing to MANY people that knew him throughout his life. I had the sweet pleasure of seeing Park weekly during my 13 years at the Salem Family YMCA. He was a friendly supporter of our Aquatics Department and a gentle soul that refreshed me each and every time that he stopped to speak to me, ask genuinely how I was doing and offer encouragement for my work. He was a dear, kind man and I know that he will be missed until we can meet with him again in Glory.

Condolence: I hope the family will accept my personal condolences in the loss of Park. I attended the H'burg Baptist Chuch where Park's father was minister. Although older than me, Park took an interest in young people. He went to high school with my older brother but Park was a friend of all. We lived across the street from them on the corner of Newman and Mason and I saw Park often. In high school he was a superb athlete and a star football player.
Although I have not seen Park in 60 years I still remember how friendly he was and how he played a part in my life. I will remember his friendship well.

Condolence: May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences. I've known Park since he started swimming at the Salem Y. We often swam side by side. He was truly an inspiration to me, an example of a life long commitment to fitness. He swam close to one mile daily, an incredible feat regardless of age. Carpe diem is the lesson Park taught me. I always enjoyed conversing with Park when we met at the Y. There was a gentleness, sincerity and compassion about him. He lived his faith, and he will be missed.
