Obituary for Geoffrey Michael Hawryliw
Geoffrey Michael Hawryliw, 33, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
Geoff was a beloved son and devoted brother. He was a faithful and dedicated employee of Mac and Bob’s Restaurant for 15 years. He loved his job and the people he worked with. Geoff also loved his OSU Football Buckeyes! Go Bucks!!
He is survived by his parents, William (Willy) and Theresa (Terri) Hawryliw; sister, Christine (Chris) Hawryliw and her fiancé, Brian Arthur; and special sweetheart, Cierra Stanley. He also leaves behind aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving and caring friends that are too numerous to mention; and last but not least, his “son” as Geoff liked to call him, his four-legged buddy, Barkley!
Periods of visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Ken Shuping officiating. Entombment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
