Obituary for
Larry Wayne Robinson
Larry “Catfish” Robinson, 56, of Salem, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, July 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Larry was a veteran, having served his country in the Army. He loved Nascar and the outdoors. He enjoyed music and singing karaoke. Most of all he loved shooting pool and spending time with his friends at the “Sip”.
Family left to cherish his memory include his wife, Cheryl Robinson; daughter, Tiffany Robinson; parents, Lee and Shirley Robinson; siblings, Lorraine Austin (Larry), Dwayne Robinson (Julia), and David Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family; and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 in the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Roanoke.
