Condolence From: Betty Burke
Condolence: I met Leo when he served on the governing board of Mental Health Services of the Roanoke Valley (now Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare). His compass never wavered when difficult decisions had to be made. He was strong with his opinions and tender in his compassion. He was a strong advocate for people with disabilities, and I cherish my memories of our work together.

Condolence From: Matthew Mosley
Condolence: I worked with Leo in the mid 90's and have very fond memories of him. I was the new guy and he seemed to be the expert in all things. Yet he was very approachable, and I admired his eagerness to learn new things, no matter how much experience he already had. I try to imitate him.
May he rest in peace, and may his loved ones have the consolation of a life well lived.
