Effie Wilhelm Clemmer, 94, of Roanoke, was called home by the Lord on Saturday, March 21, 2015. She was preceded by her husband, Russell Clemmer; and brothers, Roger, Everett, and Billy Wilhelm. Effie is survived by a sister, Ruth Brown of Fairfield, VA; a son, Jerry Clemmer of Boydton, VA; a daughter, Linda Rowe of Catawba, VA; and grandson, JR Wray and granddaughter Angela Wray, of Roanoke, VA. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm, Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, with Rev. Thomas McCracken III officiating.
