Juanita Hall  Grice
Juanita Hall Grice, 85, of Salem, went home on Sunday, October 1, 2017.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Claude and Reta Hall; and a son, Duane Grice.

Her surviving family includes her husband of 65 years, Billy Grice; daughter, Aliene Hodges; and brothers, Cleon Hall (Martha) of Salem and Irving Hall (Nadene) of Chesterfield. Also surviving are those who called her “Noonie” including grandchildren, Kenny Hodges (Stephanie), Steven Hodges (Rebecca), and Sarah Myers (Jeremy); eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. There are several other special family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

A period of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in the funeral home’s chapel. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at the Southwest Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery in Dublin.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made to the New Grace Baptist Church Mission Fund at 1527 Gilford Ave, NW in Roanoke, Va. 24017. Online condolences may be expressed at www.johnmoakey.com.
