Joe Annarino, 73, of Roanoke, got the gentle kiss of Jesus on Sunday, December 11, 2016.
He was an influential pillar to the community through his dedication to ethics, work standards, the economy, and youth development.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Joe and Elizabeth Annarino of Newark, Ohio.
His surviving family includes his wife, Maggie Annarino; children, Jaison Annarino and Becky Clark and husband, Tony; sister, Tina Mummey and husband, Danny; and many nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the oncology and palliative care staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their dedicated care and mercy.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem with Rev. Tim Gearheart officiating. A period of visitation will follow until 8 p.m.
