7-Day Cross Country
Day 1 ... NAS Miramar Happy Hour (we had the t-shirts to prove it!)
Day 2 ... Louisville to visit my folks (and stock up on cheap Wild Turkey)
Day 3 ... Miami to visit Steve's mom
Day 4 ... NAS Oceana to meet your future squadron mates (as XO/CO). Nice hot tub party!
Day 5 ... Ordered to RTB (thanks Skipper Bull!). Or to paraphrase our directive ... "I don't care what I promised you ...holes; and I don't care about you ...holes; I just want my aircraft back ASAP!"
Day 6 ... At least we got to sleep in! (and we brought the aircraft back Up & Up!).
