John & I were fortunate that we were to meet and share almost 10 years of caring, music and a special friendship on the road nearing the last years here on earth. He was a wonderful father to his children and husband to Gladys. He told me about taking early retirement so he could care for her and she could be at home when she was battling MS and finally congestive heart failure. My life was enriched by knowing him.
