Zell Sue Cole

Zell Sue Cole, 65, of New Castle, VA, and formerly of Pilgrims Knob, VA, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010. She was born on June 15, 1944 in Richlands, VA, daughter of Vernie Keen Brown and the late Lonnie Oliver Brown. Survivors include one son, Tony Dean Cole and wife, Jamie; granddaughter, Amber Rain; six sisters, Mary Louise Mullins, Kathren Maeline Allen, Judy Ellen Mullins, Ellie Mae Garvine, Dellie Marie Meadows, and Dorothy Gaynell Ham; brother, Lonnie Wayne Brown; a special friend, Don Chidester; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Craig Valley Baptist Church, 171 Salem Ave., New Castle. Pastor William (Bill) Grindstaff will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Craig County Rescue Squad. Arrangements by John M. Oakey & Son, Salem, VA.
