Yvonne Grace Goulette Hilliker

Yvonne Grace Hilliker of Roanoke went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 14, 2012. She was the widow of Gordon Hilliker. She has three sons, Ernest of Roanoke, John and wife, Anita of Kitty Hawk, NC and Alan Lee who was called to be one of Gods Angels. She is also survived by two sisters, Anna Mattoon of Chelsea, VT and Marion Simonds of Hartford, VT; five grandsons, Darrell, Kevin, Steven, Scott and Stewart; one granddaughter, Amy; great-grandchildren, Gavin, Johnjesse, Holden, Lawson, Jonah, Gracyn, and Hannah; several nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law, Violet Hilliker; and her special friend Millie Porterfield, who like a sister, she was there for Yvonne in sickness and health. She was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose, Lodge #284. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday, November 19th, 2012 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Rev. Roy Kanode officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. 540-389-5441.
