Willie Brown Phillippi

Willie Brown Phillippi, 94, of Salem, VA, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011. He was born in Wythe County, VA, a son of the late Elbert and Bertha Brown Phillippi. A United States Army veteran of WWII, he was employed at Eaton Corporation for many years prior to retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Phillippi, and his beloved wife, Mary Ann Phillippi, who passed away April 13, 2011. He is survived by two grandsons, Charles E. Phillippi, Jr. and Glenn Phillippi as well as a granddaughter, Janice Hullett. All services will be private. John M. Oakey & Son, Salem, is serving the Phillippi family.
