William Butch Street Jr. 60, of Roanoke, passed away on Friday December 6, 2013. Butch was born in Welch, W.VA. a son to the late William H. and Lorriane Dutch Street. Along with his parents Butch is preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Kennedy, and Ray Street. Butch moved to the Roanoke Valley some 40 years ago to raise his family, he had been a member of the Free Masons, Shriners, and the Moose Lodge, he made his living as a paint contractor but was best known as an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing, he also enjoyed to cook, known as Butchs Chuckwagon, his love was his kids and family. Left behind to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Vicky Street, two daughters, Shannon Craft and husband Matt, Crystal Carriker and Stacy Carroll, four grandchildren, Hunter, Nathan, Ryan, and Cheyenne, along with many adopted children and a brother, Michael Street and wife Debbie, along with a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 10, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.540-389-5441 and a funeral service to honor the life of William Butch Street Jr. will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2013 at 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev.
