William Lloyd Smith

William (Bill) Lloyd Smith, 81, of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. His surviving family includes his wife, Elfriede Ganzenbacher-Waldl Smith; son, Mike Smith; daughter, Susanne McNulty; sisters, Rahma Kirkwood, Lydia Reece, and Virginia Absher; grandchildren, David Smith and his family, Jessica Hancock, Jason Smith and his family, Heidi Clemons, and Alex Hancock; and 5 great-grandchildren. A period of visitation will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the funeral homes chapel. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
