William Marshall Kinsey, 88, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 26, 2014. He was kind to everyone he met, loved to travel, and thoroughly enjoyed his occupation as a long-term cross-country truck driver. Preceding him in death was his wife of 52 years, Bobbie C. Kinsey; and granddaughter, Laura Dobbins. His surviving family includes his daughters, Vicki Sultan, Francie Dobbins, and Cecelia Bailey; grandchildren, Jacob Sultan and wife, Megan, and Sarah Sultan; 5 great-grandchildren; and dear friend, Norma Snead. A period of visitation will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2014 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem. A funeral service will then begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Eric Evans officiating. The service of interment will take place on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Fair View Cemetery in Roanoke. The family expresses sincere appreciation to the staff of Salem Terrace as well as Gentle Shepherd Hospice for their support and excellent care. In lieu of flowers, contributions made in his name may be made to Gentle Shepherd Hospice Charity at 6045 Peters Creek Road in Roanoke, VA 24019. The Kinsey family is being served by John M.
