William Jerry Journell, 77, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
Jerry was a long time employee of Salem Paving Company and had a love for hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Muncy Journell; mother, Ellen (Kirk) Journell; sisters, Mary Flannagan, Charlotte Cousin, and Diane Martin; and brother, Leonard Journell. He is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as special friends, Don Hall and Gary Blankenship.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son, Salem, with Pastor Cameron Smith officiating.
