William "Todd" Barbour

William Todd Barbour, age 56, of Roanoke, Va, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at his home in Roanoke. Todd was born on Tuesday, July 16, 1963, to Raye L. Barbour Hatton and the late William Lee Barbour. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Rev. J.W. Hatton, Jr. Todd was a Salem High School graduate, later he worked for U.S. Foods for several years. After U.S. Foods he started his own appliance delivery and setup business. Todd was a very giving and kindhearted person. He never met a stranger and never made an enemy. Todd was known to give his last dollar if it meant that someone wouldnt go without. His pride and joy was his daughter, Jodie. He will be greatly missed by all that were privileged to have his life touch theirs. In addition to his mother Todd leaves behind his daughter, Jodie Ann Barbour; former wife and special friend, Jane Renee Barbour; one brother, Mike Barbour and wife, Kay; nephews, Jeremy Barbour and wife, Ann and Jonathan Barbour and wife, Megan; great-nieces, Elsie and Louella Barbour; great-nephews, Ryland and Griffin Barbour. A celebration of his life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, Va. With Pastor Leonard Southern officiating. Inurnment will be held privately at Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until the service hour.
