William Perry Bandy Sr.

William Perry Bandy, Sr., 79, of Salem, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was employed with the City of Salem for over 30 years, and loved fishing and hunting in his spare time. Surviving are his children, Randy Bandy and wife, Sandra, Kathy Simmons and husband, H.D., Bill Bandy and wife, Tammy, Billie Bandy and boyfriend, Casey Cary, and Clayton Bandy and girlfriend, Tanya Childress; ex-wives, Veola Bentley and Brenda Fitzgerald Bandy; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Curtis Bandy, Ruby Gurney, Phoebe Ball, and Omey Viets; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins; and his colleagues of the City of Salem. A gathering for family members and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
