Wanda Looney Whittaker

Wanda Looney Whittaker, 84, of Roanoke,went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 26, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Whittaker; her parents, Jasper and Eula Looney; sister, Marita Dove; and brother, Garmen Looney. Wanda is survived by her sons, Mack (Joan) of Floyd, Jerry (Barbara) of Moneta, and Sam (Amy) of Roanoke; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other extended family. The family would like to thank the Carilion Hospice team who provided care to Wanda during her illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carilion Hospice Services of Roanoke. A memorial service to honor Wandas life will be held at a later date.
