Wade Thomas Fisher

Wade Thomas Fisher, 62, of Bedford and Roanoke, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 10, 1962, to the late William and Margaret Corell Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a member of Narcotics Anonymous for over thirty years and a sponsor for those who needed him at NA. He was also involved with APA and TAP in the Roanoke Valley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jonathan Rothert, Sr.

Left to cherish his memory include his children, Brandy Rucker (Mitch), Shea Rothert, Tiffany Fisher, Zachary "Keith" Huff (Kellie Simpkins); grandchildren, Makeyla Watson, Julieanna "Rose" Davis, James Turner, Justin Turner, Naomi Rothert, Jonathan Rothert, Jr., Dakota Ingram, Isaac Simpkins, and Elijah Simpkins; sister, Mary Anne Stone; special friends, Will Dobbins, Charlie Bouserman, and Brent Andrews.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 5 p.m. at Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church.
