Virginia Lee Huddleston Whitlock

Virginia Lee Whitlock, 85, of Salem, died on Friday, January 5, 2018. She passed peacefully in her sleep. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth W. Whitlock; her loving sister, Gloria J. Thomason; sister-in-law, Meri H. Huddleston; a niece; and three nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Nelson L. Huddleston; mother, Louise J. Huddleston; brother, Donald. E. Huddleston; and brother-in-law, Sammy J. Thomason. A special thank you to Richard Carter for his many years of care. Also, thank you to everyone at Pheasant Ridge Nursing Facility, especially the staff from unit 1. Thank you also to Christina Johnson for her special care. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
