Virginia Jenny Wahab Daulton, of Salem, went to be home with the Lord on Thursday, April 28, 2016.
Jenny was born on Wednesday, August 10, 1949, in Morehead City, N.C. to the late Archie T. and Lois Wahab. Jenny worked out of her home as a hairdresser and cherished all of her ladies like they were family. She will be remembered by the ones who loved her as a loyal wife, wonderful mother, and a true friend. She will also be remembered for her quick wit, her ability to spin a story, and her love to laugh.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Willard R. Daulton, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacie Booth; special son-in-law, JD Booth; two very special grandchildren, Addie and Nick Booth; brother, Perry Wahab; brother-in-law, Boozie Daulton and wife, Vicki; nieces, Carrie Daulton, Brea Hatt and husband, Andrew, Stephanie, Joy, Jenn, Angie, and Kristen; nephews, Andrew Wahab, Gary Ferguson and wife, Cindy, Craig, and Anthony; great-nieces, Kylie, Blakely, and Savannah; special sister-in-law, Linda Wahab; and special friends, Jack and Jane Taylor.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 3, 2016, at Ridgewood Baptist Church in Roanoke. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
