Virginia Leona Ailstock

Virginia C. Ailstock, 85, of Salem, quietly passed at home to be with the lord on April 11th, 2023. Those that have preceded her in death include her parents, Melvin and Irene Craft; husband, James P. Ailstock Sr.; sons, James P. Ailstock Jr. (Linda), and Michael Ailstock (Lindsay); and sister Juanita Craft Ailstock. Virginia retired from Lewis Gale clinic after working there for many years. She was an avid animal lover and has owned many pets in her lifetime. She loved any dog or cat she would meet. Those left here on earth to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sandra A. Christian (Larry), and Pamela Kirtner (Benjamin); sister, Dana Craft; grandchildren, Daniel Garst, Terry Ailstock, Trevor Ailstock, Virginia Kirtner, Nichole Kirtner, Kimberly Christian, Eric Christian (Katie), and Lisa Christian (Matt); great-grandchildren, Wyatt Garst, Landon Waltz, Ciara Christian, and Brianna Brammer; two dogs, and one cat.
