Vincent Rogers Sr.

Vincent Rogers, 49, of Roanoke, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. He was born in Roanoke, a son of the late Jesse A. Rogers and Margaret Rogers Scruggs and had been an area resident most of his life. He was formerly employed at Two Chicks Painting and loved to fish and hunt. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Rogers. He is survived by his loving companion of over 20 years, Lisa Sarver; three sons, Vincent Rogers, Jr., Sam Sarver, Andrew Sarver and his girlfriend Brandie Alford; a daughter, Caitlyn Sarver; brother, David Rogers and his companion Alice Duff; a grandson, Jaxsen Sarver, and his close friend, Perry Dobbins. A gathering of friends to celebrate Vincent's life will be held from 1 to 4 PM, Saturday, February 11, 2017 at River Church Roanoke 4108 Electric Rd. Roanoke, VA 24018.
