Victor Abraham Ratner

Mr. Victor Vic Abraham Ratner, age 82, of Roanoke passed away Wednesday April 13th, 2016. He is survived by his dear and devoted wife Nancy, beloved children Joel M. Ratner (Lisa), Paul E. Ratner (Julie), Dan J. Ratner (Nicole) and Karen K. Kennington (John). Eight cherished grand-children. Loving sisters Annette Brodsky Lang (John) and Nannette Melnick. Funeral services will be held on Friday April 15th, 2016 at 10:30 Oclock in the morning at Beth Israel Synagogue, 920 Franklin Rd., Roanoke, VA 24016. Rabbi Chana Leslie Glaser officiating. Interment will follow at the kever in the Beth Israel Cemetery. Immediately following the interment, the family will receive friends for a meal of condolence at the Ratners residence. Shiva will be observed Sunday to Wednesday and the family will receive callers from 4PM until 8PM each evening. A minyan and mincha service will be held on Sunday evening beginning promptly at 7PM.
