Verner William 'Henry' Witt

Verner William Witt (Henry), 78, of Salem, passed away Sunday August 17, 2014 at his home. Preceding him in death was his wife Barbara Ann Witt, his parents Abrham Vaughn Elliot and Carrie Virginia Journell Elliot and stepson Emory Wayne Price (Rusty). He is survived by two stepsons, David Price and his wife, Penny and Charlie Price and his wife, Debbie all of Salem; sister, Joyce Ann Gray and a nephew, Michael Lee Gray, Jr. of Salem. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Heather, Lindsey, Channing, Sierra, Clay and Kaylee, and Five Great-grandchildren. The Family will have a gathering of friends and family from 6 until 8 pm Thursday, August 21, 2014 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
