Trisha Ann Smith Whitehurst passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Born in Danville, VA, to the late Charles L. Smith, Jr. and Doris Atkins Smith.

Trisha was a wonderfully gifted artist whose creativity touched everyone around her. Strong in spirit, brave in the face of hardship, and deeply selfless, she gave generously of her time, talent, and love. Trisha’s kindness and courage left a lasting mark on all who knew her, and her art remains a beautiful reflection of the heart she shared with the world.
