Thomas Wayne Yeatts

Thomas Wayne Yeatts, 74, of Salem passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 after a hard fought battle with chronic health issues. Born on Sunday, August 15, 1943 to the late Thomas Tommy and Helen Yeatts. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by; mother and father-in-law, Paul and Deane Ferguson; and one brother, Albert Buck Yeatts. Left to cherish and honor his memory are wife, Bonita Bonnie Yeatts; daughter, Melissa (Greg) Vaden; son, Bradley Brad Yeatts (Laura Brooks); three grandchildren, Taylor Vaden, Evan Yeatts, and Claire Yeatts; sister, Lois (Danny) Board; brothers, Lowell Dorma Yeatts, Roger Yeatts; brother and sisters-in-law, David (Karen) Ferguson and Suzanne Yeatts; along with numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, close friends and others whom he considered his own. A period of visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem, with an 11:00 AM memorial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of choice in Waynes memory, better yet, he would prefer that you simply take time to enjoy a good meal with those you love.
