Thomas Leon Richardson Jr.

Called by God this day, January 3, 2018, a faithful husband and loving father, Mr. Thomas Leon Richardson, Jr., was born July 8, 1930, in Lamar County, Alabama, the son of the late Thomas Leon Richardson, Sr., and Mildred Elizabeth Brewer Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Service America (former Macke Vending Co.) He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, and giving hugs. He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy B. Richardson; daughter, Mary Beth Richardson (Sifers); brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and dear friend, Ruby Greene. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 3035 Mt. Pleasant Blvd., Roanoke, VA 24014, with Rev. Robert Stutes and Rev. Liz Mortlock officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
