Thomas Flickwir 'Tommy' Franklin, Jr.

Thomas Flickwir Franklin, Jr., 71, of Roanoke and formerly of Salem, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Franklin, Sr. and Sylvia (Deel) Franklin. Left to cherish his memory are daughter, Aimee Brown and husband, Scott; sisters, Sharyn Parks and husband, Derrell and Susan Bohannon and husband, Lewis; grandchildren, Andrew, Brian, Ian, Hannah, Hayden, and Natalie; nephews, Eric and Andy Parks; niece, Leah Bohannon; and Aimees mother, Jeannie Cox. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 with an hour prior visitation at John M. Oakey & Son, Salem. An interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park, Salem.
