Terry Allen Woods

Terry Allen Woods, 72, of Salem, passed away, Friday, April 26, 2019 at Lewis Gale Medical Center. A man who never met a stranger and who was known for always having a sense of joy and happiness about him. Terry enjoyed spending time with his family at Smith Mountain Lake. He loved to travel, and was always mesmerized by the beauty he found in wildlife and nature. Terry is preceded in death by his parents John and Neva Woods; step-fathers Wendell Bailey and Garland Wright; He is survived by his loving wife Linda Woods; son Chris Davis (Debbie); he also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 29, 2019, from 6:00 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 2:00 pm at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home 305 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, Va., 24153. A graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park, immediately following the service. Service Details.
