Teresa Burnop White

Teresa Burnop White, 52 of Salem, VA passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010. She was born November 21, 1957 in Roanoke daughter of the late Roy and Ruby Daniel Burnop. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allen Eugene White; and a sister, Sharon Slusher. Mrs. White was a homemaker. She is survived by her adopted mother and caregiver, Velda R. Gearhart and husband, Norris; dear friend, Dr. Jim Witten; one niece; and numerous aunts and cousins. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. 540-389-5441.
