Sylvia L. Wallace

Sylvia L. Wallace, 88, of Salem, VA and formerly of Tyler County, WV passed away Friday, February 25, 2011. She was born January 27, 1923 in Braxton County, WV daughter of the late Festus and Bertha Frame Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Wallace; and six brothers and sisters. Mrs. Wallace was a former and loyal member to the Shirley United Methodist Church in Shirley, WV prior to moving to Salem. She is survived by her son, Jim Wallace of Vinton, VA; daughter, Sharon Wallace Hartley and husband, Charley of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Justin Hartley of Knoxville, TN and Scott Romine and wife, Anna of Round Hill, VA; a great-grandchild, Kyle Romine also of Round Hill, VA. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 7 pm at the Furbee Funeral Home in Tyler, WV. Burial will conducted on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 1 pm at the Shirley United Methodist Church Cemetery. Furbee Funeral Home, Tyler County, W.V. is in charge of arrangements. John M.
