Sylvia Hill Lemon

Sylvia Hill Lemon, 83, of Salem, Va. passed away at Richfield Care and Recovery Center on April 19, 2023. Born in Roanoke County, Virginia, on April 14, 1940, to the late Marcus C. and Bessie Doyle Hill, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Laura Walters Gray, and three brothers, Wesley Preston Hill, George Ralph Hill, and McCoy Hill. Sylvias sister, Alma Lynn Hill, survives her as does her nephew, Ricky Hill. The family welcomes friends to gather for a graveside service on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, in Roanoke. Pastor Horace Light will officiate. As Sylvia adored animals, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local animal rescue organization of your choice, or to the church fellowships she deeply loved, Hollins Road Church of the Brethren and Green Hill Church of the Brethren.
