Susanna Baur Moore

Susanna Moore, 86, of Salem, Virginia, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010. Professionally, she served many as a pediatric nurse. In her later years, she used her talent as a fiber artist by spinning wool, knitting, and working with felt. She spent many years in Rockbridge County, Virginia, lived a number of years in Green Valley, Arizona, and then lived out the rest of her life in Salem, Virginia. Devoting her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren, she was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Her surviving family includes her husband of 51 years, Stewart Moore; 3 children; 3 sisters; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. at College Lutheran Church in Salem with the Rev. Wynemah Hinlicky officiating. A reception will follow in the Stoutamire Chapel at the church.
