Susan M. Kopka Gallagher

Susan M. (Kopka) Gallagher, 96, of Salem, Virginia (formerly of Canton and Massillon, Ohio) went to be with our Lord on Monday, November 11, 2013. Having suffered a stroke in the Spring, she died from complications of such. Susan was predeceased by her son Patrick J. Gallagher of Denison, TX in 2010, her brother Steve J. Kopka of Yucaipa, CA, in 2010, and her brother Andrew J. Kuopka of Escondido, CA, in 2012. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ellis (Jim) of Wooster, OH, and daughter Audrey Fish Pfeifer (Terry) of Salem, VA, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 niece and many nephews. Susan loved books, art, and gardening, was devoted to her family and home her entire life, and her love of the Lord was evident to all who knew her. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Salem, VA. Graveside services will be conducted 11 am on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at St. Andrews Diocesan Cemetery in Roanoke.
