Steven Lee 'Hog-Head' Winfrey

Steven Lee (Hog-Head) Winfrey, 51, of Roanoke, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. He was born on September 7, 1962, in Roanoke, to the late Sydnor Lee and Anna Bell Winfrey. Steven thoroughly enjoyed trucking, and was in the industry since he was eighteen years of age. He had 30 plus years of trucking under his belt and left here doing what he loved! Family left to cherish his memory includes his daughter, Christina Winfrey; grandchildren, Shereen and Mariam Al-Beesheh, and Kamron Winfrey; niece, Anna Rickman; great-niece, Marlee Dawn; girlfriend of many years, Cynthia Hall and her 3 sons; and his sister, Julie A. Winfrey. Memorial services to honor Stevens life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of John M. Oakey & Son funeral home in Salem.
