Sterling 'Keith' Byrd

Sterling Keith Byrd, 40 of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2011. He was born on November 5, 1970 in Roanoke, VA. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Salem. He was preceded in death by his Step-Father, Frank Shinault. He is survived by his Wife, Joyce Michelle Byrd; Mother, Wanda Shinault; Father, & Step-Mother, Sterling & Jacqueline Byrd; Children, Rocia Byrd, Paco Byrd, Samantha Byrd, and Coty Byrd; Step-Children, Jacob Shrader, Brittney Shrader, Zachary Shrader; Sisters, Rhonda, & husband David Call, Regina, & husband Charles Garlick, Chelsea Shinault, & Tammy OConner; Brother, Jeffrey, & wife Mae-Lea Byrd; Grandchildren, Jayden Tingler, & Veronica Becerra; Nieces and Nephews, J.W., Max, Ty, Lydia, David, Desirea, Steven, Special Uncle, Roger Smith; Grandmother, Dulcie Smith, & his beloved dog, Booger. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 2 P.M., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salem, with Bishop Noah McDaniel officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
