Stephen Lee 'Steve' Stinson

Stephen Steve Lee Stinson, Sr., 65, of Dublin, VA passed away Monday, August 22, 2011. He was born January 3, 1946 in Glen Morgan, WV son of the late Clarence Virgil and Gladys Thelma Bennington Stinson. Mr. Stinson graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in 1965 and was a truck driver for many years. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie L. Stinson; and a brother, William R. Billy Stinson. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Combs Stinson; son, Stephen Lee Stinson, Jr.; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Brown, Arik Brown, Kolby Stinson and Jasmine Barnes; one great-granddaughter, Keiara Martin; three sisters, Phyllis Darnall and husband, Bobby, Patricia Brooks and Judy Stinson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 am Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Bobby Sylvia officiating.
