Sherrie Joann Robertson

Sherrie Joann Robertson, 55, of New Castle, Va., passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024. She was born on May 5, 1969, to Barbara Smith Stevenson and Ralph Andrew Stevenson. Sherrie was an animal lover, and she adored her family. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clarence W. and Lena M. Stevenson; maternal grandparents, Alice and Hazel Henry Smith; and her husband, Kevin Lee Robertson. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Kelsie Robertson; sister, Karen Stevenson; cousins, Debbie Crockett, Scott Merritt, and Ashley Cason. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem, with Pastor Roger Counts officiating. The interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. Friends may visit with the family from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the funeral home.
