Shannon Leigh 'Shananighans' Craft

Shannon Leigh Craft, known by many as Shananighans, 35, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014. She was born in Roanoke on December 15, 1978 to Vicky Sharon Street and the late William Howard Street, Jr. Shannon was a proud member of Penn Forest Worship Center. Her church brought her so much happiness, and she enjoyed helping organize church events. Most recently, she helped to organize the Feeding America food drive. Shannon was a loving and giving person, loved helping others and cared very much for cats. She was very artistic, and enjoyed making crafts and jewelry. Shannon will always be a cherished mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend in the hearts of her loved ones. Family left to cherish her memory include her husband, William Matthew Craft; son, Hunter; step-daughter, Caleigh; mother, Vicky Street; sister, Crystal Carriker and husband Stacy Carroll; loving grandmother, Ruth Clark; and niece and nephews, Nathan, Ryan, and Cheyenne. The family will receive friends Friday, November 7, 2014 from 1 until 3 p.m. and 5 until 7 p.m., with a reception following, at Penn Forest Worship Center in Roanoke. Funeral services to honor Shannons life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Penn Forest Worship Center. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn in Roanoke.
