Shane Russell Boles, 32, of Salem, Virginia was called home on June 3, 2022. Shane was a professional photographer, avid hiker, and a huge sports enthusiast. He was the most kind-hearted, open-handed, and selfless friend. Shane was preceded in death by his mother Melanie H. Boles; and grandparents Ivan B. Cocomo Boles Sr, and Vivian C. Caldwell. Surviving family include his father, Charles Russell Boles; grandmother, Nola Ellease Boles; Sister, Amanda Waldron (Dewayne); nephews, Clayton and Kaiden Waldron; niece, Cambri Waldron and chosen family, Cody & Megan Wimmer, Justin Carter, Taylor Lucado, Zach Aicher, and Ian & Bre Wilmer.
