Sarah Carpenter Weaver

Sarah Carpenter Weaver, 40, of Salem, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

In her spare time, she enjoyed coloring as well as taking trips to the beach. She was loyal to her friends and family and enjoyed conversations with all of them, especially while sitting on the front porch where she felt close to Heaven.

Her surviving family includes her husband of 7 years, David Weaver; her mother- and father-in-law, Glenda and Weylin Weaver; her stepchildren with David: Jonathon and Lukas Weaver; her other stepchildren: Kinza Carpenter, Cary Carpenter Wright (Derek), Alyssa Carpenter, Jacob Carpenter, and Eli Carpenter; as well as the mother of the Carpenter children: Sandra Rose.

She also had many, many loyal friends whom she met over the years, and were with her until the end.

Family members and friends may visit together from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025, in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem, Va. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, also in the chapel, with Pastor Kenneth Poston officiating. She will be laid to rest at Sherwood Memorial Park.
