Sarah Virginia Bohannon

Sarah Virginia Bohannon, born March 1, 1947, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, Laurence and Sarah Smith Bohannon; and brothers, Stimis and Willie Bohannon. She is survived by her brother, Lewis Bohannon (Susan); nephew, William Bohannon; nieces, Tanya Gray and Leah Bohannon; and several great-nephews and great-nieces. Virginia is also survived by longtime friend, Rebecca Felts. Virginia was raised in Salem, Virginia, and graduated from Andrew Lewis High School. She moved to Richmond after graduating from National Business College. She worked at several agencies for Commonwealth of Virginia during her Career including Virginia Department of Health and Department of Human Resource Management. There will be a private graveside service at Sherwood Memorial Park on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
