Sandra Mallory Maxey

Sandra Mallory Maxey, 76, went home to her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was born on Wednesday, May 22, 1946, to the late Samuel L. Mallory, Sr., and Pearl Poff Mallory. Sandy is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Maxey. Those left to mourn her loss include her daughter, Kim Trobaugh (Scott); son, Scott Maxey (Shannon); daughter, Tracie Sowder (Steve); grandchildren, Mallory, Samantha, Logan, Alec, Cayden, and Seth; sister, Judy Vest (Ray); brother, Danny Mallory; along with special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on January 21, 2023, at Big Spring Baptist Church, 9135 Roanoke Road, Elliston, VA 24087.
