Sandra Gail Lovell Holmes

Sandra Gail Lovell Holmes, 52, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. She enjoyed sewing, singing karaoke, playing the Wii, and spending time with her family, and loved her kids and grandbaby more than anything. Preceding her in death was her grandfather, Gordon Flinchum; and grandson, Marcellus Hernandez. Her surviving family includes her grandmother, Nora Flinchum; parents, Leo and Bertha Lovell; children, David Cowden and Jennifer Cowden; grandson, Markus Hernandez; siblings, Debbie Andrews and husband, Tony, Tommy Lovell and wife, Linda, Teresa Lovell, and Bonnie Pryor and husband, Terry; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. A gathering of friends will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013 in the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel in Salem with a service starting at 7 p.m. The Rev. Richard Kingrea will officiate.
