Sandra Leah Cook, 68, of Salem, passed Wednesday, May 15, 2013. She was born in Pineville, WV and was the daughter of the late Algie Greene and Kathryn Cook Greene and had been an area resident since 1964. Sandra was a homemaker, an avid reader, and loved spending time keeping things neat and tidy and taking care of her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Clifford Cook, Jr., and by a brother, Butch Greene. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Larry C. Cook, Sr.; her daughter, Cheryl L. Greenway; a son, Dennis Cook and his wife Karen; her two beloved grandsons, Kiel and Bradley Cook; her cherished sister, Faye Harden and her husband Romie; and a brother, Jack Cales. The family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for the love and care shown to Sandra.
