Sandra Lee Brown

Sandra L. Brown, 76 of Roanoke, VA passed away Sunday afternoon on October 9, 2022. She took great pride in taking care of her family and made that her number one job. She also worked for Sams club and retired after 20 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Samuel L. Brown and parents Elizabeth and Walter Chilman; brothers, William Chilman, and Robert Chilman; son-in-law Vernon J. Thrush. Survived by daughter Shannon L. Thrush; sister-in-law, Lois Porterfield; several grandkids and great grandkids; grand dogs, Roscoe and Sierra. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 11 am at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 6 8 pm at John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem.
