Ruth Elsie Prince

Ruth Elsie Prince, 83, of Salem, VA passed away Friday, September 3, 2010. She was born June 6, 1927 in Raleigh, WV daughter of the late Rev. Ernest F. and Elsie Perkins Dalton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil L. Prince; daughter, Carol Prince; brother, Billy Dalton and son-in-law, Dallas Walton Mrs. Prince was a member of Faith Fellowship Church of God and was retired from National Linen Service. She is survived her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy Walton of Salem, Kenny and Sue Flowers of Salem, Ducky and Wilda Correll of Salem, Ronnie and Karen Bell of Titusville, FL and Billy and Vicky Hess of Salem; loving brothers, Jimmy Dalton of WV, Randall Dalton of WV, Darrell Dalton of NC, Roger Dalton of WV and Danny Dalton of WV; six grandkids; nineteen great-grandkids; six great-great-grandkids and one on the way. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 pm Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from the chapel of John M. Oakey and Son, Salem with Pastor James Pentecost officiating.
